Drakefest @ Lake Lakengren

Other than some minor glitches, everything went well. Had to make a quick trip to Middletown to pick up a cable and some plywood. Stopped at the store and got some duct tape too.

The setup went pretty quickly. Only one pin didn't work during testing. Oh, but the battery was dead! Luckily I carry a power pack in my car.

The band was good. They played about 25 minutes overtime. This actually worked to our advantage since there was a car wreck nearby and the fire truck and crew had to leave. Air Care was called in so we had to delay until that was clear.

The laser light show was awesome. It ran for 26 minutes and then the fireworks followed right afterwards. I'm not sure what happened, but I heard our sound track only ran for about 5 minutes. That's a shame. It was a great soundtrack and of course the fireworks were choreographed.

There were only three of us. Ray ran the board, Bob "Daddy" was safety and I was the shooter so I don't have any pictures of the actual show.

The opening band was Adelee Gates Band and the main band was Bad Medicine a Bon Jovi tribute band.
